- 1970 Founded by Vernon L. Melton - Rented space in St. Louis, MO
- 1975 Moved to Washington, MO - Built facility Washington, MO
- 1985 Employees purchase company - 100% ESOP
- 1999 6350 Bluff Road facility - 110,000 sq. ft.
- 2007 Building expansion - 44,000 sq. ft. at 6350 Bluff Road
- 2010 Purchase Computech Manufacturing Company - Custom machine builder located in North Kansas City, MO
- 2013 CMC relocated to Washington, MO - 90,000 sq. ft. facility at 851 Vossbrink Rd.
- 2020 Building expansion - 365,000 sq. ft. facility at 901 Melton Drive
